About Scott

2003. Scott’s education on Hemingway, his life and works began in his senior year English class taught at Father Judge Catholic High School in fall of 1993 by, Lou McKee, who had Scott’s class read their first Hemingway novels, A Farewell
to Arms, and The Old Man and the Sea. This led him on a self-education on Hemingway that bore fruit in fall of 2002. In 2004 Scott first presented his major findings on the health of Hemingway and his immediate family, including a viewing of
Scott’s discovery of Ernest Hemingway’s long-lost home movies dating back to 1935, to the Hemingway Society at their Bi-Annual Conference which took place in Key West, Florida in June 2004.
He went on to befriend and gain the support of the Hemingway family, for which Scott is forever grateful.
